29 August 2026
Loveland, Colorado [USA]

On August 29, 2026, twelve members of the Seattle Cossacks maintained a complete human-pyramid formation across four independently operated vintage Harley-Davidson motorcycles for a verified distance of 1,368 feet during the 25th Annual Realities Ride & Rally.
The attempt was hosted by Realities For Children Charities as part of its annual motorcycle fundraising and awareness event supporting emergency and healing services for children who have experienced abuse, neglect or related hardship.
Transparent Adjudicator's Statement
Summary of Claim
Realities For Children Charities and the Seattle Cossacks submitted a claim for the greatest measured distance traveled while maintaining a complete 12-person human pyramid supported by exactly four moving motorcycles.
The formation consisted of twelve participants total, including the four motorcycle operators. The motorcycles remained independently operated and were not mechanically connected. No ropes, harnesses, external stabilizers or other external supports were used.
Evidence Submitted
Atlas received an extensive evidence package documenting both the measurement of the course and execution of the record attempt.
Submitted evidence included:
Continuous ground-level video of the formation and complete attempt
Multiple drone recordings covering the full route
Rider-mounted GoPro footage
Stationary video positioned at the staging/start area
Stationary video covering the finish area
High-resolution photographs from multiple photographers
Video documentation of course pre-measurement
A second recorded course pre-measurement for corroboration
Calibration of the measuring wheel against a tape measure
Clearly established 100-foot course reference markings
Photographic documentation of start, finish and route markers
Google Earth course reference material
Course distance and elevation information
Participant and formation information
Supporting event documentation
The evidence permitted Atlas to independently review formation integrity, forward movement and the achieved distance from multiple visual perspectives.
Comparative and Cross-Archive Benchmark Review
Before establishing the category, Atlas conducted a comparative benchmark review covering publicly documented motorcycle human-pyramid performances, motorcycle display teams, historical stunt formations, military and paramilitary motorcycle teams, published archival references and related record categories.
Atlas also cross-referenced the publicly available records maintained by all major world record organizations.
Numerous motorcycle-pyramid achievements involving different combinations of participants and motorcycles were identified, including formations measured by participant count, height, speed or distance.
However, Atlas found no verified publicly documented measured-distance benchmark matching the specific configuration of exactly 12 participants forming a human pyramid on exactly four motorcycles.
The Seattle Cossacks additionally advised Atlas that the team had previously performed comparable pyramid formations during demonstrations and practices but had never undertaken this configuration as a formally measured distance record. Its previous pyramid performances were estimated not to have exceeded approximately 250 feet.
Atlas therefore determined that the proposed achievement represented a sufficiently distinct and objectively measurable record category.
Verification Methodology
The principal event course was independently measured at 1,320 feet, equal to one quarter mile.
The measurement process was documented on video and performed twice. The measuring wheel was also calibrated against a tape measure. One-hundred-foot reference marks placed along the course provided additional visible reference points within the submitted footage.
Atlas subsequently conducted frame-based review of the video evidence to determine the period during which the complete qualifying pyramid remained established.
The evidence demonstrated that:
The full 12-person pyramid was established approximately 39.15 feet before the designated start line.
The formation remained intact throughout the complete 1,320-foot measured course.
The formation continued approximately 9 feet beyond the designated finish line before beginning to disassemble.
The resulting calculated distance was approximately:
39.15 ft + 1,320 ft + 9 ft = 1,368.15 feet
To avoid overstating precision derived from visual endpoint analysis, Atlas rounded the result downward and certified an official distance of:
1,368 feet
Adjudication Findings
Atlas found that the submitted evidence demonstrated:
Exactly 12 participants formed the qualifying human pyramid.
Exactly four motorcycles were used.
The motorcycles operated independently and were not physically connected.
The complete formation was established prior to the measured course.
The qualifying pyramid remained intact throughout the certified distance.
All four motorcycles maintained forward movement during the qualifying performance.
No outside stabilizing equipment or external physical support was used.
The event team established and documented an accurate ground-distance measurement.
Multiple independent visual records corroborated the continuity and integrity of the attempt.
The calculated qualifying distance exceeded 1,368 feet.
The breadth and redundancy of the submitted evidence provided a high degree of confidence in the final determination. Atlas considered the event one of the most thoroughly documented self-measured attempts it had adjudicated remotely at the time of review.
Conclusion
Atlas World Records finds that the evidence sufficiently establishes that Realities For Children Charities and the Seattle Cossacks achieved the Greatest Distance Traveled by a 12-Person Human Pyramid on Four Motorcycles at a certified distance of 1,368 feet on August 29, 2026, in Loveland, Colorado, USA.
The record is verified and certified.
