Atlas also cross referenced publicly available records at all major world record organizations and found no conflicting certified record that displaced Casa de Campo under this defined category.

The review identified several larger properties by raw acreage. However, the record is not Largest Resort by Acreage. The relevant category is Largest Integrated Luxury Resort & Villa Estate, which requires acreage, unified luxury resort identity, guest accommodations, villa or private-residence component, and multiple permanent resort amenities within a single resort estate.

Key benchmark findings included:

• Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina, is larger by raw acreage, but is publicly described as a residential, private-club, and resort community. Its luxury hotel component is separately identified as Montage Palmetto Bluff. Atlas classified Palmetto Bluff as a residential and private-club community containing a luxury resort hotel, rather than a single integrated luxury resort and villa estate operating under one primary resort identity.

• Reynolds Lake Oconee, Georgia, is larger by raw acreage, but is publicly described as a lakefront private-club community with extensive amenities and a separately branded Ritz-Carlton hotel.
