Overview
Spiderz Sports partnered with Atlas World Records during its Spring Training Mega Draft to certify multiple record attempts occurring simultaneously across multiple fields. The activation required real-time oversight, coordinated adjudication coverage, and evidence documentation that could be published quickly and withstand scrutiny.
World Records Certified
During the Mega Draft, Atlas World Records certified the following achievements:
• Largest Single-Division Slow Pitch Softball Tournament (200 teams)
• Largest Home Run Derby (267 hitters)
• Highest Exit Velocity (120 mph)
The Challenge
Three record attempts were underway at the same time, in different locations, with distinct measurement requirements and evidence needs. The verification approach had to be structured, efficient, and non-disruptive—while still producing defensible documentation suitable for public claims and future review.
The Atlas Approach
Atlas deployed a coordinated on-site adjudication team to divide responsibilities across active areas of play and ensure continuous oversight. Our process included:
• Pre-event methodology alignment and measurement parameters
• On-site evidence documentation (logs, counts, and record-specific data capture)
• Real-time verification and live certificate presentation moments
• Rapid post-event review and publication of official documentation in the Atlas Archive
The Outcome
Atlas verified all three record achievements in real time and delivered on-site presentation moments captured on video and still photography. Fourteen Atlas Statues were presented during the event. Official record documentation was published to the Atlas Archive within 48 hours.
Why This Matters for Brands
Large live activations require verification that is coordinated, documented, and presentation-ready in real time—without slowing down the event. Atlas was built for modern brand execution: direct communication, structured adjudication, transparent documentation, and fast publication timelines.
